Hi guys and girls! just a quick update on things. Viz is 20m+ on the wrecks at the moment and has been for the last week or so. Northerly winds keep the swell down and make the viz fantastic..wow........... Weather on the weekend will be good for diving as we will still have those northerlys.Dredging is still going on inthe south channel and in the heads [ two dredges] But ,they will be gone in august 30th.Viz is ok inside the bay and around the heads providing the dredging plume is not heading towards the divesite --be pepared to change dive destinations.. they don't tell us where the dredging is going on, at any time, bloddy beuocrats! speaking of which.......The Canberra is rumored to go down in august .Supose it has to happen soon it's been sitting in Geelong for the last 12 months or so ready for the government departments to do their job. Thanks to Greg Hunt and Brendon Nelson Victoria got the wreck and 8 millioon dollars . Vic. Gov. has spent the money--were is our wreck? will it be sunk, like the baonet, miles out to sea because local politics can't get their act together once more? Hope not Tom If you are frustrated about this situation, like me, ask your local polly to make some noise!
