As you have heard, Ex HMAS Canberra Has been gifted to Victoria. So we are certaily getting the Ship. VARS [The lets sink the Canberra association] is basicly lobby goup to the government on behalf of the dive industrie.This group is so tenacious in their lobbying that the feds gave them 7mil to get them off their backs, the state bods are throwing in another mil just to make sure.8Million. Wow !!! I should get this team working for Ozdive.
So the sinking will be around mid next year. Sites are all being looked at by the gov bods and the team as we speak.
I am absoloutly proud as punch to be a part of this team and am looking forward to diving the Canberra in vic.waters
